She graduated with Distinction from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in Trial and Appellate Advocacy in 2020. Most notably, Simone was invited to participate as one of only sixteen competitors at Baylor Law School's prestigious national Top Gun Mock Trial Tournament during her second and third years, having earned the title of Tournament Champion in 2020.

Simone was also very involved in several clubs and organizations, including serving as the President of the Criminal Law Society in 2018, the Vice President of the Trial Advocacy Board in 2019, and the Public Relations Chair on the Public Legal Services Society Executive Board in 2018 and 2019.
